What is C Programming Language ?

C is a general-purpose computer programming language. That means we can use C to create lists of instructions for a computer to follow. C is one of thousands of programming languages currently in use. C has been around for several decades and has won widespread acceptance because it gives programmers maximum control and efficiency. C is an easy language to learn.C is developed by Dennis Ritchie in 1972 while he was working in one of the project with Ken Thomson in AT&T BELL laboratory. 

Why do we use C Language ?

C Language is the mother of all the other languages. 
C is a structured programming language which allows a complex program to be broken into simpler programs called functions. It also allows free movement of data across these functions.
